Pay & Benefits:
- Pay Range: $115 – $130/hour
- Call Back Pay: $220.50/hour
- Overtime: 1.3x hourly rate
- Travel & lodging covered per assignment guidelines
Schedule & Call:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- On-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays
- In-house call with a 15-minute response time requirement
- Call back volume is low (~10%)
Case Mix & Skills Preferred:
- Gynecologic/Surgical Pathology
- GI Pathology
- GU Pathology
- Neuropathology
- Dermatopathology
- Hematopathology (bone marrow, lymph nodes)
- Pediatric tumor pathology
- GYN and Non-GYN cytology
- FNAs (performance & interpretation)
- Autopsy (non-forensic & forensic)
- Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient environment
- EMR: Cerner
- Support staff includes 2 advanced practice providers
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Pathology
- Active Texas medical license (no exceptions)
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- NPI number and all active licenses required at submission
