Contract Length: 3 months
Schedule: M-F 8a-5pm, Call (optional) is 1 week per month (7 days), is clinical call only
Clinic details
Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Patient Volume: 13,000 – 15,000 cases annually,
Patient Population: 18+ will include tonsillectomy so specimens will be from all ages
Support Staff: typically 2 pathologists on service -at least 1 on site, and another may read remotely. there are lab techs processing the specimens, there is an Anatomic Pathology Technologist on sight as well as a Pathologist Assistant
Cases/Procedures: FNA procedures for adequacies, Frozen Section services also required, Some Cytology, head and neck, – Non-GYN Cytology
