📍 Location: Chillicothe, OH
🗓️ Start Date: 6/23/25 – 3-month contract
📢 Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
• Call: 1 week/month (clinical only – no on-site requirement during call)
Practice Details:
• Primary site: Chillicothe (3 hospitals send specimens here)
• Annual volume: 13,000 – 15,000 cases
• 2 pathologists on service (1 always on-site)
• Duties include FNAs, Frozen Section services
• Focus areas: Cytology (Non-GYN), head & neck specimens, tonsillectomies
• Patient Age Range: Predominantly adult, some pediatric specimens
• EMR: EPIC
Support Staff Includes:
• Pathologist Assistant
• Anatomic Pathology Technologist
• Lab Technicians
Requirements:
• AP/CP Board Certified (no board-eligible candidates)
• OH License required
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Cytology experience preferred (board verification a plus)
• No DEA or CSR required
