Pathology Locums Job for Coverage in Michigan | June 2025 - Ongoing
Dates of Coverage:
--June 1 orientation with coverage starting June 2 for minimum of the full month - expected to be ongoing
--Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM)
--Call Schedule: alternate weekly, start Friday (5PM) finish following Friday (8AM)
Assignment Details/Requirements #108762:
--Board Certification or Board Eligible is required
--Michigan license is highly preferred, can accept IMLC with LOQ
--COVID vaccine is required
--Hospital based rotating call; 35-50 cases per day with 2 pathologists; CLIA lab certification
--Need to be able to handle GI biopsies, breast biopsies, and neuropathology in particular. Neurosurgical cases are the most frequent frozen section requests.
--Provider will be Grossing their own Specimens and Cutting their own frozen sections on Cryostat
--Required Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical Pathology, GI Pathology, GU Pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology
--Required Clinical Pathology Procedures: Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, Blood Bank
