Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pathologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in anatomy and pathology, with the ability to diagnose diseases through the examination of tissue samples and medical imaging. This role is critical in providing accurate diagnoses that guide treatment plans for patients across various settings, including outpatient care and primary care facilities. The Pathologist will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Job Responsibilities
Utilize medical imaging techniques, including CT scans, to support diagnostic processes.
Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to discuss findings and recommend further testing or treatment options.
Implement infection control measures during sample collection and processing.
Participate in discharge planning for patients requiring follow-up care or additional interventions.
Maintain accurate records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Stay updated on advancements in pathology and related fields to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of anatomy, geriatrics, and outpatient care practices.
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and procedures.
Proficiency in interpreting medical imaging results is advantageous.
