Pediatric Pathologist – Driscoll Children’s Hospital

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking to expand its faculty with an AP/CP board-certified or eligible Pediatric Pathologist to join our well-established pathology practice. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is a state-of-the-art computerized, full-service laboratory open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This is a clinical opportunity, non-academic. This role involves a wide range of pathology services, including surgical pathology, frozen section interpretation, cytopathology, and clinical laboratory duties. Case volume for clinical pathology exceeds 550,000 specimens annually, while anatomical pathology volume exceeds 3,500 cases annually. The program supports inpatient and outpatient locations.

You would be joining a private multi-specialty group which includes two pathologists, laboratory staff, and medical staff. We are proud to be holders of accreditation from The College of American Pathologists (CAP), the leading organization of board-certified pathologists, that serve patients and the public by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine.

Successful applicants will enjoy a highly competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, excellent retirement plans, paid vacation days, paid holidays, paid CME, and malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
