Job Summary:
HCA’s Forward Pathology Solutions is seeking a PRN Pathologist, Board Certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology, for our West Florida Division providing coverage at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital and HCA Florida Brandon Hospital.Qualified Candidates:
- AP/CP certification or board eligibility
- At least three years of hospital-based experience
- Active Florida Medical License or eligible to obtain
- Comfortable with the full scope of AP and CP for community hospital practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience building collaborative relationships with hospital staff and referring physicians.
- Wide range of surgical pathology specimens
- Cytology cases primarily consist of a variety of non-GYN specimens, thyroid FNA’s, and lung FNA’s.
- Clinical pathology may include peripheral smears and blood bank reviews.
- Employs over 170 board certified multispecialty pathologists
- Provides professional services to over 70 HCA Healthcare hospitals and Integrated Regional Laboratories
