A private lab is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locum tenens coverage.
While on assignment in Northern North Carolina, visit Pisgah National Forest for breathtaking views, tour the Biltmore, or walk through the gardens of the North Carolina Arboretum!
Board certification in AP/CP with Cytopathology is required (Cytopath certification is not required if you have Cytopath experience). An active NC license is required and an additional 1-2 other state licenses are preferred. The schedule is Monday - Friday from 8a-5p. There will be no call or weekends. There will be GYN cytology (abnormal pap smears), non-GYN cytology, GYN biopsies (cervical/endometrial/LEEPs), breast biopsies, oral biopsies, and peripheral smears. There will be no frozen sections or autopsies.
