The Department of Pathology at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) seeks an outstanding candidate to join its internationally recognized team. The Department offers the opportunity to work at a highly ranked academic center with protected time to pursue research and other academic interests. Current positions available include faculty positions specialized in Breast Pathology, Cytopathology, Head & Neck Pathology, as well as several additional Surgical Pathology subspecialty areas. Pursue your clincial areas of interest with guaranteed, built-in protected time to participate in ground breaking, colaborative scholarship and academic projects with an internationally recognized and renowed team.Successful candidates will have an area of special expertise and interest and a desire to practice in a collegial, academic environment.

  • The educational programs include fellowships in cytopathology, dermatopathology, gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary pathology, gynecologic pathology, neuropathology, and surgical pathology
  • Diverse interdepartmental research opportunities — interface with the wealth of basic and translational research programs that are a hallmark of UCSF, including the UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center
  • Competitive compensation package including two incentive plans plus comprehensive benefits including multiple retirement offerings---tremendous pension program, 403B, and 457B, Relocation / Sign - on (Start) Bonus package of $150,000, a mortgage incentive program offering incredibly low interest rates, assistance with selling current home, plus faculty housing or temporary housing assistance. Base salary range for this position is $92,100-$360,000.

Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be BE/BC in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic & Clinical Pathology with fellowship training or equivalent clinical experience/expertise in Breast Pathology
