Full-time Emergency AP/CP Pathology Locums Job near Tampa, Florida | Seeking Weekday Coverage Starting January 2026 + Ongoing

Jackson and Coker's valued Florida Client needs 1-2 Board Certified AP/CP Pathologists to assist with weekday coverage starting ASAP (can get privileges by early January) and ongoing due to a Physician being out unexpectedly on medical leave. Will need to fill a full-time schedule (Monday-Friday coverage every week starting in January) ideally with one locums Pathologist, but willing to piece the schedule together with two Pathologists that can each offer two weeks of coverage each month.

Schedule details:
* Lab hours are 8A - 5P, Monday - Friday
* No night or weekend call coverage needed
* Holiday day coverage is needed for all holidays

Dates of coverage needed:
* January: 5-9, 12-16, 19-23, 26-30
* February: 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27
* March: 2-6, 9-13, 16-20, 23-27

Details/Requirements for Assignment #112887:
» Active Florida license required
» AP/CP Pathology / Surgical Pathology Board Certification required
* Seeking 1-2 candidates to cover 2 weeks/month each (or 1 Physician to cover full-time coverage)
» Group has sub-specialty support off site, however, welcomes Pathologists that can do all general Pathology AND any subspecialty
» Lab hours are generally 8A - 6PM, no night or weekend call coverage is needed
» Will be working on site of a hospital based lab
» Can anticipate between 15-20 however, can send cases out if you become over-loaded, and for any subspecialties you aren't comfortable with
» Will have histo-tech support while on assignment
»»Will handle your own frozen grossing - all other grossing is done by PAs at 1 main facility (down the street at a larger affiliated campus that serves as the pathology 'hub,' with several on site Pathologists covering daily)
» Will be working as the solo-Pathologist while on assignment
» Epic EMR at each location - will be required to complete Epic training prior to coverage (can also test out of comfortable)
