Hematopathology Locums Job in New Jersey | Scheduled Clinical Hours | Beginning October 26 - April 25 | Assignment #117068
-- No call
-- Active New Jersey license or IMLC
-- Interpret lymph nodes, FNA, and body fluid specimens
-- Provide intraoperative lymphoma work-up consultation as needed
-- Correlate pathology findings with clinical, radiologic, molecular, and laboratory data
-- Communicate significant and critical diagnostic findings directly with hospital clinicians
-- Consensus review on demand
-- Tumor board case presentations
-- Approximately 2 surgical/FNA cases per day (lymph node, spleen, etc.)
-- Approximately 20 peripheral blood flow cytometry cases
-- Patient load varies by day
-- Additional support staff available
-- Provider will work with 5 other full-time MDs
-- Trauma Level 1 facility
-- Coverage needed onsite daily for the listed hematopathology services
-- EMR: Epic

Requirements
-- Board Certification in Hematopathology-- Active New Jersey license or IMLC
Required Procedures / Skills
-- Interpret and diagnose bone marrow aspirates, biopsies, flow cytometry, and peripheral blood smears-- Interpret lymph nodes, FNA, and body fluid specimens
-- Provide intraoperative lymphoma work-up consultation as needed
-- Correlate pathology findings with clinical, radiologic, molecular, and laboratory data
-- Communicate significant and critical diagnostic findings directly with hospital clinicians
-- Consensus review on demand
-- Tumor board case presentations
Assignment Details
-- Approximately 5 bone marrow cases per day with associated flow cytometry-- Approximately 2 surgical/FNA cases per day (lymph node, spleen, etc.)
-- Approximately 20 peripheral blood flow cytometry cases
-- Patient load varies by day
-- Additional support staff available
-- Provider will work with 5 other full-time MDs
-- Trauma Level 1 facility
-- Coverage needed onsite daily for the listed hematopathology services
