Job description
We are seeking a Molecular Pathologist for a permanent, full-time position in Alpharetta, GA. This is a full-time opportunity within a digital pathology laboratory setting. Please see below for more information.
EMR: LIS (custom)
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose utilizing gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology
Prepare detailed pathology reports
Communicate findings to surgeons, physicians, and other medical professionals
Supervise pathology staff, residents, and visiting pathologists
Oversee daily laboratory operations
Qualifications
Board certification in Pathology required
Subspecialty focus in Hematopathology, including flow cytometry and bone marrow evaluation
Background in clinical and molecular hematopathology, complex surgical pathology, and solid tumor diagnostics
Active Georgia medical license required or ability to obtain
Working Hours
Day shifts (8 hours)
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
