Job description
We are looking for a physician who is clinically strong, patient-centered, and comfortable practicing in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in interventional pain management and is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while building lasting relationships with patients and referring providers.
Job Responsibilities
● Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
● Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
● Provide appropriate medication management, including controlled substances
● Perform interventional pain procedures within the physician's scope and training
● Perform office and ASC-based procedures such as trigger point, joint, bursa injections, RFAs, and lumbar ESIs.
● Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations
● Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
● Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to provide an efficient, high-quality patient experience
● Establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and referring providers
● Participating in practice initiatives focused on quality, patient satisfaction, and continued growth
● Perform office and ASC-based procedures such as trigger point, joint, bursa injections, RFAs, lumbar ESIs, Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials, MILD, Via Disc and PNS trials.
Qualifications
● Active Maryland medical license
● DEA registration
● Board Certified in Pain Management
● Interventional pain management experience
● Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient practice
