Join Our Dynamic Team as a Pain Management Physician

Overview:

VHS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pain Management Physician to join our esteemed interventional pain practice. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to deliver top-quality patient care through advanced procedures in a collaborative environment. Required Skills:
  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in interventional pain management
  • Proven expertise in performing pain procedures such as TPI, PNS, RFA, NB, and ultrasound-guided interventions
  • Valid PA medical license and DEA certification
  • Strong procedural skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR systems

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working with interprofessional teams
  • Ability to handle high patient volumes efficiently
  • Additional certifications in pain management or anesthesia techniques
  • Familiarity with advanced pain equipment and technology

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Residency in Anesthesiology or PM&R
  • At least 5 years of post-residency clinical practice specializing in interventional pain

Other Requirements:
  • No extensive travel required; all billable travel expenses covered when applicable (airfare, hotel, rental car, mileage)
  • Ability to work scheduled hours from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Support staff includes RN and MA
  • Credentialing and privileging typically completed within 45-90 days
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure, certifications, and legal compliance

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $266.06
