Job at a glance
Job description
Join a turnkey outpatient pain practice with EMG focus, built-in volume, and ASC upside
The Opportunity
This is a high-volume, outpatient PM&R opportunity within a well-established pain management practice serving a dense, underserved population. The role is designed to replace a departing physician’s panel, offering immediate access to patient volume with the ability to rebuild and expand a thriving non-interventional program. The practice operates within a modern, team-based model supported by nurse practitioners, advanced diagnostics, and on-site procedural capabilities.
What makes this opportunity unique is the balance of true PM&R medicine (MSK + EMG) with strong infrastructure and volume already in place. Physicians are supported by a highly efficient clinical team, access to advanced imaging and an ASC, and a predictable weekday schedule with no call responsibilities. There is also optional exposure to procedural work for those interested, along with long-term upside tied to collections and ASC participation.
Why This Role?
- Immediate patient volume with ability to rebuild and grow an established panel
- True PM&R focus (MSK, soft tissue, EMG) — not diluted by heavy procedures
- No call + predictable schedule (Monday–Friday, outpatient only)
- Strong income potential with base + collections + ASC upside
- Team-based support model allowing physicians to focus on clinical care
Culture & Autonomy
This is a physician-led private practice with a structured, team-based model. Physicians maintain autonomy in clinical decision-making while operating within an efficient, high-volume system supported by NPs and clinical staff.
The environment is:
- Collaborative and team-first (NPs, RNs, techs fully integrated)
- Built around predictability and consistency
- Focused on standard-of-care, non-judgmental pain management
Physicians are expected to:
- Be team-oriented and work within an established workflow
- Maintain professionalism in a high-demand environment
- Contribute to patient care alongside advanced practice providers
Turnover is low among core providers, and onboarding is streamlined due to established systems and volume.
