Exciting locum opportunity in Canandaigua, NY 🌆 for an Interventional Pain Management Physician. Work in a well-supported outpatient setting with access to advanced procedures and a collaborative care team, delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions 🩺
• Perform interventional procedures (ESI, MBB, RFA, nerve blocks, injections, etc.) 💉
• Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed
• Provide patient education on pain management strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support staff 🤝
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Qualifications
• MD/DO with board certification/eligibility in Pain Management
• Fellowship training in Pain Management (required)
• Active New York medical license (required)
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience post fellowship
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Working Hours
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM ⏰
(On-call: Office call only after hours & weekends)
Skills
• Expertise in interventional pain procedures 💉
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
