Pain Management Physician (Interventional) – Locum

📅 Assignment Details

• Start Date: April 20, 2026

• Assignment Length: Approximately 26 weeks

• Full-time coverage needed

• Opportunity to work in a well-established outpatient pain management clinic

⏰ Schedule

• Monday – Friday

• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Office call only for after-hours and weekends

• Typical lunch break: 12:00 – 1:00 PM

🏥 Practice Setting

• Outpatient pain management clinic

• Ambulatory patient population

• Support staff available during clinic hours, including:

  • Secretary

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Providers may also float between the ambulatory clinic and nearby procedural space depending on scheduling needs.

🩺 Procedures

Physicians should be comfortable performing a variety of interventional pain management procedures, including:

• Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

• Medial branch blocks (MBB)

• Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)

• Peripheral nerve blocks

• Trigger point injections

• Sacroiliac joint injections

• Spinal cord stimulator trials

• Genicular nerve blocks and RFA

• Intercostal nerve blocks

• Piriformis injections

💻 Technology

• EMR: Epic

📋 Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management

• Pain Medicine fellowship required

• Active New York medical license required

• BLS certification required

• Epic experience required

• 1–2 years of experience post-fellowship preferred
