Locums – Pain Management (Interventional)
Location: Canandaigua
Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Availability
- Start Date: April 20, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Lunch Break: Typically 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Call: Office call only (after hours and weekends)
- New York State License – Required (In Hand)
- Board Certified – Required
- BLS – Required
- Pain Medicine Fellowship – Required
- Fellowship does not need to be ACGME accredited
- Minimum Experience: 1–2 years post fellowship
- EMR: Epic experience required
- Facility Type: Outpatient / Ambulatory Clinic
- Patient Acuity: Ambulatory only
- Support Staff: Secretary and LPN onsite during clinic days
- Float Coverage:
- Ambulatory clinic
- OR space in Clifton Springs
- Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Medial branch blocks (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Radiofrequency ablation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Nerve blocks (various body regions)
- Trigger point injections
- Sacroiliac joint injections
- Spinal cord stimulator trials
- Genicular nerve blocks
- Genicular RFA
- Intercostal nerve blocks
- Piriformis injections
- Provide direct patient care and scheduled call coverage
- Coordinate diagnostic and treatment procedures and referrals
- Supervise and collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities
- Assist with residency or medical student education when applicable
- Follow hospital, local, state, and federal regulations
