An outpatient pain management clinic in Canandaigua, New York is seeking a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician specializing in Pain Management for a locum assignment.
This position focuses on ambulatory pain management and interventional spine procedures, treating patients with musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain conditions. The physician will perform a variety of image-guided pain procedures and collaborate with clinic staff to deliver comprehensive pain care.
Providers will work primarily in the outpatient clinic and may occasionally perform procedures in an affiliated procedure space.Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive musculoskeletal and neurologic examinations
• Develop individualized pain management treatment plans
• Perform interventional pain procedures including injections and nerve blocks
• Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies relevant to pain management
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure safe procedural workflow
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans using Epic EMR
• Provide follow-up care and monitor patient treatment outcomes
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management
• Active New York Medical License required
• Minimum 1–2 years post-fellowship experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience performing interventional pain procedures
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Working Hours
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: Office call only (after hours and weekends)
Assignment Duration: 26 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours
