Healthcare United is seeking an experienced Interventional Pain Medicine Physician to join a well-established private practice in Fort Myers, Florida. This full-time opportunity offers an immediate patient base, a strong procedural environment, and significant long-term income potential within a thriving outpatient pain practice.
The physician will practice in a modern, state-of-the-art facility supported by a full clinical team including nurse practitioners, medical assistants, registered nurses, and scribes. The practice provides a balanced schedule between clinic and ambulatory surgery center procedures, allowing physicians to focus on high-quality patient care and advanced interventional treatments.
This position offers a strong compensation structure including a $350,000 guaranteed salary for the first two years, followed by a 40% collections model, providing substantial long-term earning potential. Partnership opportunities and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) ownership potential are available after two years. Job Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of minimally invasive and interventional spine procedures
Conduct outpatient consultations, follow-ups, and treatment planning
Perform procedures in the ambulatory surgery center using fluoroscopic guidance
Collaborate with nurse practitioners managing medical pain care
Maintain accurate documentation with scribe support
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Pain Medicine
Fellowship training in Pain Medicine or Interventional Pain preferred
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain
Prior experience performing interventional pain procedures required
Strong interest in complex spinal injections and advanced interventional pain treatments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Hours
Monday through Friday outpatient schedule
Approximately four half-days per week in the ambulatory surgery center
Approximately six half-days per week in the clinic
Immediate patient volume available with established referral network
Skills
Epidural steroid injections and selective nerve root blocks
Radiofrequency ablation procedures
Sacroiliac joint injections and fusion procedures
Minimally invasive lumbar decompression procedures
Spinal cord stimulator trials and implantation
Kyphoplasty and vertebral augmentation
Peripheral nerve blocks and neuromodulation techniques
Chronic pain evaluation and treatment planning
Multidisciplinary care coordination and collaboration
Compensation & Benefits
Guaranteed Salary: $350,000 annually for the first two years
Long-Term Compensation: Transition to 40% of collections after year two
