Pain Management Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pain Management Physician who is committed to providing top-tier care, participating in quality assurance activities, and contributing to the professional growth of the team. Required Skills:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology with a fellowship in Pain Medicine (not necessarily ACGME-accredited)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience
  • Proficiency in interventional procedures: ESI, MBB, RFA, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, sacroiliac joint injections, spinal cord stimulator trials, genicular nerve blocks, intercoseal nerve blocks, piriformis injections
  • Valid NY State Medical License
  • BLS certification (Life Saving Certification)
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in outpatient ambulatory care settings
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary approaches to pain management
  • Participation in residency or medical student teaching
  • Additional certifications in pain management procedures or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active New York State medical license
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology
  • 1-2 years of post-fellowship clinical practice

Other Requirements:
  • Commitment to professional development, including Age Specific Competency Training within 12 months
  • Flexibility to cover office hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Availability for office call and coverage of procedures at ambulatory clinics
  • Ability to perform advanced interventional procedures independently
  • Must behave in a mature, responsible, and respectful manner, fostering a positive clinical environment

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate: $267.54
