You'll provide quality healthcare services to ambulatory pain clinic patients and engage in direct patient care on a regular schedule. This role involves coverage at an outpatient clinic and ambulatory surgical space, with call responsibilities restricted to office hours and weekends. The Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM ensures a balanced work-life rhythm.

Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens - Setting: Ambulatory Clinic - Start Date: ASAP - Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with after-hours office call only - Patient Population: Adult - Location: Canandaigua, NY - Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities - Provide comprehensive medical care including office call coverage - Coordinate diagnostic, treatment procedures, and referral care - Instruct and monitor nursing and support staff - Serve on the Peer Review Committee and engage in quality assurance activities - Participate in the education of residents and medical students

Qualifications - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pain Management - NY State License required - Minimum 1-2 years post-fellowship experience - BLS certification - Epic EMR experience

Working Hours - Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Office call after regular hours and weekends

Skills - Expertise in interventional procedures such as ESI, MBB, RFA, and nerve blocks - Professional attire and a mature, respectful demeanor - Ability to provide age-specific care across adult and geriatric populations - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
