Pain Management Physician- Sacramento, CA

**Open to new graduates and fellowship candidates **

Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)
Practice Setting: Interventional Pain Management Clinic
Work Environment: Office-Based Specialty Practice
Average Daily Caseload: 20-30 patients

Shifts & Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • No on-call, no weekends, no nights

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Pain Management Physician to join a busy outpatient pain management clinic in Sacramento, California. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based pain care in a collaborative environment.

The practice is open to experienced physicians, new graduates, and fellowship-trained candidates who are passionate about interventional pain management and improving patient quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history and physical exams

  • Diagnose acute and chronic pain conditions and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Perform interventional pain procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and botulinum toxin treatments

  • Utilize imaging studies (CT and diagnostic radiology) to support diagnosis and procedural planning

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, psychiatry, orthopedics, and other specialists

  • Manage outpatient pain cases, including post-operative and palliative care patients

  • Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (Epic preferred) in compliance with HIPAA

  • Apply evidence-based practices and remain current with advancements in pain medicine

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO (Board-Eligible or Board-Certified)

  • Training or experience in Pain Medicine or related specialties (Anesthesiology, Neurology, PM&R)

  • Experience or training in interventional pain procedures preferred

  • Open to new graduates and fellowship candidates

  • Active medical license required (must be in hand at start)

  • Active DEA required (must be in hand at start)

  • Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
