Position Overview

The Interventional Pain Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions. This role focuses on providing comprehensive, patient-centered care through advanced interventional techniques and individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage complex acute and chronic pain conditions
  • Perform interventional procedures including:
    • Epidural steroid injections
    • Nerve blocks
    • Radiofrequency ablation
    • Spinal cord stimulator trials
    • Vertebral augmentation
  • Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing procedural, therapeutic, and medication-based strategies
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices and innovations in pain management

Qualifications

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in:
  • Pain Management
  • Anesthesiology
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management required
  • Strong procedural skills across a broad range of interventions
  • Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
  • Eligible for Oklahoma medical licensure
