CAVHS and Arkansas
The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System "CAVHS" in Little Rock, AR is seeking a full-time Pain Management Physician. Our work load is very manageable, our team is super friendly, and our leadership is extremely supportive. Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, also known as The Natural State. Arkansas tops all of USA as the #1 state for inbound moves in both 2024 and 2025. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to live. Arkansans' spend their weekends with family and friends or out in solitude exploring the historic Arkansas State Capitol, the Arkansas Art Centers and museums, enjoying the outdoors and the nearby beautiful Ozark Mountains, or with fine dining and entertainment. With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live and quickly explore the nation.
Job Responsibilities
• M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm, alternative schedules can be discussed.
• Primarily outpatient, and in the radiology procedure suite.
• Clinic days average 10-15 patients.
• Surgical center days average 10-15 cases.
• Opportunities to work with and mentor residents and fellows.
Qualifications
• A degree of Doctor of Medicine or equivalent allopathic or osteopathic degree from an accredited institution; or evidence of an ECFMG certificate.
• Completion of Residency Training.
• Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehab, or Anesthesiology.
• Selective Service Registration is for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Non-ACGME residencies: must provide ECFMG, and proof of 5 years residency, fellowship, and/or relevant practice experience in the USA in the field you are applying.
