General Summary of Position
The NP role includes examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities

-Interview patients for health history and perform physical examination.
-Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
-Document H & P, progress notes, and treatment plans.
-Caring for patients in the outpatient setting.
-Participate in multi-disciplinary quality and service improvement meetings.
-Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

-Education/Training -Master of Science degree or higher, with completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program.
-License/Certification - Registered and currently recorded with the state of Utah Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the area of specialization.
-Orthopedic experience is a plus.

Working Hours

Full-time. 9am-5pm.
