Pain Management Locums Job in Prescott, Arizona | June Start | Monday-Friday

Schedule Needed:
--Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:00pm
--Start date: 6/14/2024, ongoing coverage

Requirements:
--Board Certification – BC Anesthesia or Physiatry
--Arizona license or IMLC
--Malpractice – Clean Preferred
--Required Procedures: Spinal Cord Stimulator experience preferred but not required, Epidural Leads

Job Details:
--Summary: This is an interventional pain management practice. They do not routinely perform medication management. Their focus is interventional procedures which include multiple types of injections and device implantation for chronic pain. There is a dedicated staff on site.
--Duties: New and established patient evaluations. In-office and surgery center injection procedures for spine, nerve and peripheral joints and Ultrasound and/or Fluoroscopy guidance when appropriate for the injections. Would prefer experience with spinal cord stimulator trials and percutaneous implants. Attend pertinent staff meetings.
--Procedures vary depending on the type of procedure being done. A procedure can take anywhere from 15-90 minutes, depending on what it is. Anywhere from 6-10 procedures would be a typical day.
--Support Staff: medical assistant and front office personnel. Office manager. Nurse and Nurse Practitioner.
--Deal Breakers: Need to be team oriented and willing to interact with Neurosurgery and Physiatry colleagues in the Neuroscience department.
