Regional Acute Pain Anesthesiology with The University of New Mexico

The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of New Mexico (UNM) is seeking a fellowship-trained regional and acute pain anesthesiologist. UNM is home to a Level I Trauma center and a high-functioning perioperative pain service. We are open to candidates with all levels of experience.

  • High-level pain position with a wide variety of cases and a large amount of pathology.
  • The incoming provider will be integral in an expanding division and a newly ACGME-accredited regional anesthesia fellowship.
  • Our team of experts includes 6 regional and acute pain anesthesiologists, 2 fellows, residents, and experienced support staff
  • Close collaboration with chronic pain specialists and fellows
  • Support for participation in innovative research opportunities such as opioid use and other pain modalities
