This opportunity is with a private physician group who is contracted with one of the largest hospitals in the area. The hospital is a leader in health care and community involvement, with multiple hospitals, more than 80 clinics, 5 ERs and nearly 12,000 employees throughout southwest Missouri. Our mission is to improve the health of the communities we serve through quality health care, education and research.

This group is seeking a full-time, board certified or board eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join us for a practice that treats patients with disorders in the muscles and nervous system including neck/back pain, sports and work injuries. Our physiatrists treat patients only in the out-patient clinical setting (no in-patient responsibilities) which includes medical legal opportunities, fluoro and ultrasound guided procedures, electro-diagnostic testing, PRP, and spine injections. This opportunity is a full-time, partnership-track position, working 5 days a week. Requirements

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clinical care in Neuro, Ortho, and Work Related Injury in out-patient setting (No in-patient responsibilities.)
  • Perform Fluoro and Ultrasound guided procedures, Electro-Diagnostic testing, Spine and PRP injections
  • Participate in very limited call rotation
  • Medical legal ratings and evaluations

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified or Board-eligible and residency trained in the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
