Shift Details: Monday – Friday, the client is very open and flexible to scheduling different hours if needed. But this is the schedule of the provider that is retiring:
- Monday – Noon-4:00pm, 15 injections on average
- Tuesday – 15 consults; 30 minutes for new, 15 minutes for follow ups
- Thursday, full day of procedures with Anesthesiologist on site (30)
- Friday, 8:00-Noon, rotating every other week
• They are opening to reviewing any kind of schedule that our candidates have, this is just a reference of what the current doctor does.
Schedule: Full-time
• Amount of coverage needed per month: At least 1 full-time need, willing to fill with 2 providers if necessary
• Patients per day: On average 30 patients per 8 hour day
• Patient population/age: Adults, primarily 18-60, sometimes have minors and rarely geriatrics
• Department Description: Outpatient Pain Management facility
• Special Procedures: Epidurals, Facet Joint Injections, Nerve Blocks, RFA’s, Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Spinal Cord Stimulation, Peripheral Joint/Soft Tissues Injections, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Discograms (not required but preferred, only see about 5 per year.)
• EMR: Do not currently use EMR. They document using EXA/KMHA as their practice management system.
• Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management is required, ok with an Ortho, Anes or PM&R residency
• Board Certification: Yes
• State license required: TX
• DEA: Yes
Credentialing time frame: 2 weeks
