This not-for-profit, 81 bed acute care medical center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Otolaryngologist. The physician has the opportunity to accept an income guarantee or employment with the medical center. Either alternative offers competitive compensation according to MGMA; RVU productivity bonus; health benefits; CME; relocation expense; resident stipend; and assistance with medical education loan repayment. The medical center has a service area population of 52K+. There are approximately 80 physicians on staff and patients are treated in specialties ranging from primary care to radiology, cardiology, neurology, oncology and many more. Notable services include 64-slice CT,permanent on-site PET scanner, MRI with HD Imaging, UAB Medicine - The Cancer Center, an outpatient rehabilitation facility offering a vast array of medical and physical rehab services, including aquatics, an accredited 4-bed sleep center,wound care hyperbaric medicine and the DaVinciSurgical System. Alexander City, located on Lake Martin with 750 miles of shoreline, is unlike most cities with a population of 14,000. The community is progressive with a low crime rate, excellent schools, plenty of recreational opportunities, and an affordable cost of living.
