A locum tenens opportunity is available for an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) physician in a well-regarded hospital and clinic setting. With a flexible schedule incorporating both clinic and OR days, this role offers a balance between surgical and clinical responsibilities. Engage with a broad patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in Ephrata, PA, and provide essential ENT care.

• Schedule: 5 OR days per month, 7 clinic days per month; Clinic hours 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch), occasional OT from 7:30 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ENT care in both clinical and surgical settings.
• Conduct ENT procedures, with preferred experience in parathyroid surgeries and cochlear implants.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ENT.
• Valid PA license or eligibility via IMLC.
• Active DEA registration and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ENT role.

Working Hours

• Clinic: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Occasional overtime starting at 7:30 AM until 3:30 or 4:00 PM

Skills

• Proficiency in general ENT procedures, with comfort in specialized procedures like parathyroid surgeries and cochlear implants.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a team of medical assistants and clinical support assistants.
