Job Responsibilities
Respond to trauma and emergency ENT cases in a Level 1 setting 🚑
Collaborate with support staff including plastic surgery onsite and OMF support remotely 🤝
Document patient care in Epic EMR 💻
Be available for 24-hour call shifts on scheduled weeks 📞
Qualifications
Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Otolaryngology 🎓
Pennsylvania medical license required (time to license acceptable) 🗽
DEA registration required 💊
Minimum 1 year post-training experience
Epic EMR experience preferred 💻
Trauma Level 1 exposure preferred ⚡
Working Hours
June 15 (7:00 AM) – June 22 (7:00 AM) 🗓️
July 6 (7:00 AM) – July 13 (7:00 AM) 🗓️
Call ratio: 1:4, 4–6 hours of active call per day
Skills
Comfortable managing trauma cases in a high-acuity environment ⚡
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills 🤝
Ability to work independently during call shifts 🩺
