Otolaryngology Physician Job Details
- Location: Rhinelander, WI 54501 – Wisconsin ENT jobs in the heart of the Northwoods, offering abundant outdoor activities and vibrant local culture.
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel/Contract) – Otolaryngology locum tenens position
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks (potential for extension)
- Schedule: Clinic: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:00am–5:00pm); OR: Tuesday and Friday; Call coverage as needed
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,390–$7,560
- Patient Encounters: 20+ per shift
- Department Beds: 30+
- Nearest Airports: Rhinelander Airport, Central WI Airport
Otolaryngology Physician Qualifications
- Board Certification in Otolaryngology (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in otolaryngology or ENT physician role
- Proficient in all general "bread and butter" ENT procedures
- Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days or ACT 10
Otolaryngology Physician Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive ENT care in clinic and operating room settings
- Perform general otolaryngology procedures (surgical and non-surgical)
- Conduct endoscopic procedures: septal, sinus, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laryngoscopy
- Perform tracheotomy and general head and neck procedures
- Collaborate with audiologists and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
- Participate in call coverage as needed
