Otolaryngology Physician Job Details

• Location: Rhinelander, WI 54501 – Wisconsin ENT jobs in the heart of the Northwoods, offering abundant outdoor activities and vibrant local culture.
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel/Contract) – Otolaryngology locum tenens position
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 weeks (potential for extension)
• Schedule: Clinic: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (8:00am–5:00pm); OR: Tuesday and Friday; Call coverage as needed
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $6,390–$7,560
• Patient Encounters: 20+ per shift
• Department Beds: 30+
• Nearest Airports: Rhinelander Airport, Central WI Airport

Otolaryngology Physician Qualifications

• Board Certification in Otolaryngology (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in otolaryngology or ENT physician role
• Proficient in all general "bread and butter" ENT procedures
• Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days or ACT 10

Otolaryngology Physician Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive ENT care in clinic and operating room settings
• Perform general otolaryngology procedures (surgical and non-surgical)
• Conduct endoscopic procedures: septal, sinus, flexible and rigid endoscopy, laryngoscopy
• Perform tracheotomy and general head and neck procedures
• Collaborate with audiologists and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
• Participate in call coverage as needed
