Monthly 10-Day Block Schedule | Solo Practice | EPIC EMR

Sumo Medical Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified ENT/Otolaryngology Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing Locum Tenens assignment in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. This role supports a solo-practice environment with a consistent 10-day block each month, full clinical privileges at two locations, and comprehensive call coverage.

Position Overview

• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Specialty: ENT / Otolaryngology
• Location: Hollidaysburg, PA
• Schedule:
  • 10 consecutive days/month (blocked)
  • Mon–Fri: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (Clinic + Rounding)
  • Call:
    • Weekdays: 4:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m. (In-house; consults)
    • Weekends: Sat 8:00 a.m.–Sun 8:00 a.m. (24-hour call)

Clinical Duties

• Outpatient ENT clinic
• Inpatient rounding and consults
• ENT surgical cases
• Trauma call support

Patient Volume

• ~20 patients per day (new + established)
• ~3 consults per day
• 70% Adult | 30% Pediatric

Procedural Scope

• Tracheotomy
• Facial and oral maxillofacial trauma repairs
• Soft tissue repairs
• OR surgical cases
• Limited facial plating, minimal mandible arch bars

Practice Setting

• Solo practice
• EPIC EMR
• Full privileges at two sister clinics

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (license in-hand preferred)
• Board Certified ENT/Otolaryngology
• DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Experience with trauma and OR cases preferred
