A leading healthcare organization in Central Iowa is seeking a Full-Time Locum-to-Perm Otolaryngologist to join a busy ENT practice offering both inpatient and outpatient coverage. Enjoy a stable schedule, strong clinical support, high patient volume, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide ENT care across clinic and inpatient settings
• Perform full-spectrum ENT procedures
• Participate in the hospital call schedule
• Manage 30+ clinic patients/day with 15-minute appointment slots
• Work with dedicated 1:1 nursing and ancillary staff support
• Document using EPIC EMR
• Optional teaching opportunities
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Required)
• Active IA License or IMLC (Required)
• Full-time availability (Required)
• Experienced ENT physician (Required)
• Clean malpractice/background
• Must sign attestation confirming intent for permanent placement
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• 36 patient-contact hours/week (1.0 FTE)
• OR/procedure time based on scheduling
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Call participation required
