Join Our Otolaryngology Team as a Locum Physician in Lakewood, CO – Immediate Opportunity!

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Otolaryngologist to provide urgent locum coverage starting December 11, 2025. This is an excellent chance to contribute your expertise to a Level 1 Trauma Center, supporting critical inpatient care and ensuring seamless call coverage during a transitional period. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide standard ENT coverage across inpatient settings
  • Participate in 24-hour call shifts (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.)
  • Support trauma-related procedures and patient care
  • Complete documentation via EPIC EMR
  • Collaborate with supporting staff as needed
  • Support ongoing coverage needs due to provider resignation

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid medical license in Colorado or IMLC active license
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Otolaryngology
  • Proven experience with EPIC EMR system (minimum of several years preferred)
  • Ability to perform standard ENT procedures and trauma support
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in Level 1 Trauma Centers
  • Additional credentialing in advanced ENT procedures
  • Familiarity with virtual EMR training modules
  • Flexibility to cover weekends and extended shifts as needed

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Completion of ENT residency and board certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-training clinical experience
  • Recent EMR experience, ideally within the last 12 months

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for 24-hour shifts starting December 11, 2025
  • Willingness to stay at designated hotels with prearranged rates
  • Travel preferences, including local drive-in options, should be disclosed
  • Credentialing process to be completed within a week; preapplication and full applications must be submitted promptly
  • Compliance with EMR training prerequisites and credentialing standards
