Job description Otolaryngologist (ENT) – Locums | Lakewood, Colorado IMLC Accepted | Trauma Level 1 Call Key Requirements Licensure
  • Must be Board Certified Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery
  • Colorado License – Required for November dates
  • IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission) – Accepted
  • Must have active CO license or active IMLC at time of submission
Certifications
  • BLS – Required
  • DEA – Highly Preferred (Needed for credentialing; a transferred DEA is acceptable but must remain active for entire assignment)
Availability Requirements Candidate must be available for any dates listed below:
  • Dec 15–17 (a)
  • Potential for 2 weekends per month ongoing (pending PAC approvals)
Candidate Disclosures (Required)
  • Must state number of shifts per month they can offer
  • Must acknowledge and agree to EMR training process
  • Local / drive-in candidates – Highly Preferred
Shift & Call Structure
  • 24-hour call: 7a–7a
  • Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level 1 Call
  • Rounding: Not required
  • Anesthesia support: Yes
  • Standard ENT call coverage
Reason for Coverage
  • ENT provider resigned, leaving gaps in call schedule.
EMR & Onboarding Requirements EMR: EPIC Training Requirements (Strict) To avoid delays or missing start date, candidate must: Complete credentialing pre-app + full application triggers “applicant in training” status and AD account creation (can take up to 5 days). Complete all EPIC modules (learn lessons) before virtual training. Complete EPIC virtual PPL training at least one week prior to first scheduled shift. Site will not release first-day details until training is fully completed. Support & Resources
