JOB OVERVIEW

  • Coverage Type: Clinical Only
  • Schedule: MF, 8am 5pm - 3 Clinic days, 1 Surgery day, 1 Admin Day PATIENT POPULATION & SCOPE
  • Patient Demographics: All ages
  • Average Daily Volume / Census: 2030
  • Consults & Follow-Ups: Yes, as appropriate
  • Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: General ENT, sinus surgery, hearing, head and neck conditions FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
  • Beds in Department/Unit: Part of comprehensive surgical services department
  • Trauma Designation: Level III trauma center
  • EMR System: Paragon Allscripts
  • Specialty Backup: Full specialty and surgical support within hospital system
  • Support Staff: 1 FT ENT, 1 PT ENT, weekend ENT call coverage, 1 FT NP, 2 RN, 4 LPN, 1 PRN PA (surgical assist)
  • Leadership & Reporting Structure: Reports to Medical Director, Surgery Department

  • Board Status: BC/BE
  • State License Required: Active NE license or eligibility to obtain
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
  • Experience: Open to new graduates and experienced providers

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide comprehensive ENT care including evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment
  • Manage patient consultations and follow-up visits in clinic
  • Perform ENT surgeries with use of TruDi Sinus Navigation and Olympus Endoscopy Tower
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR COMMUNITY & LOCATION HIGHLIGHTS
