Position Overview
A Hospital Partner is seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist (ENT) to provide one day of surgical coverage per month, with the possibility of expanding to additional days as the program grows. The ENT provider will support the neurosurgery service line, primarily assisting with endoscopic and skull base procedures.
The position offers Top 15% pay based on 2025 ENT locum market data, flexible scheduling, and an excellent opportunity to collaborate on advanced surgical cases in a major regional medical center.
Opportunity for additional income as days increase.
Assignment Highlights

Schedule: 1 surgical day per month (will expand as program develops)

Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times)

Average Volume: 3–4 surgical cases per day

Job Responsibilities

Provide operative ENT support for neurosurgery cases including endoscopic trans-sphenoidal access for pituitary surgery, sinus repair for CSF leaks, and cranial base exposure/closure for translabyrinthine craniotomy.

Assist with anterior cervical spine approaches in complex cases involving prior neck surgery, cancer, or radiation.

Perform sinus and skull base procedures as appropriate to training and privileges.

Collaborate with neurosurgeons and OR staff to ensure surgical efficiency and patient safety.

Document procedures and care accurately within Epic EMR.
Skills & Experience

Board Certified (Otolaryngology) – required
-
Active Tennessee medical license or IMLC (accepted)

BLS and ACLS certifications – required

DEA – required
-
Case logs required demonstrating ability to perform specified procedures

No minimum years of experience required if recent relevant cases documented

Vaccinations up to date per facility policy
