Work Details:
- Department: Neurosurgery – OR support for neurosurgery
- Support Staff: APPs on service
- Patient Volume: 3–4 cases per month
- Patient Population: Adults
- EMR: Epic
Procedural Focus:
- ENT specialist for endoscopic trans-sphenoidal access (pituitary cases), sinus surgery for CSF leaks, and opening/closure for translabyrinthine craniotomy
- ENT generalist assistance with anterior cervical spine approaches (especially in patients with prior neck surgery, cancer, or radiation)
- Rhinologists or neurotology-fellowship-trained providers considered if capable of performing these cases
