Shift(s) Description:
- Standard day shifts with dedicated guaranteed OR time and clinic responsibilities (approx. 8:00 AM β 5:00 PM)
- Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends based on 1:4 call schedule (24-hour weekend call coverage)
- On Call Requirements: Manageable 1:4 call schedule supported by hospitalists and Advanced Practice Providers (24-hour call)
Job Description:
The Division Director of Otorhinolaryngology will:
- Provide visionary leadership for a growing ENT division in alignment with Vision 2030 strategic goals
- Oversee clinical, academic, and administrative operations for the ENT department
- Deliver personalized, high-quality patient care focused on minimally invasive surgical techniques
- Collaborate across departments to foster interdisciplinary cancer care with The Cleveland Clinic
- Drive innovation in clinical practices and surgical techniques using 5 Da Vinci Xi robotic platforms
- Lead and mentor a team of 4 board-certified surgeons and 2 advanced practice providers
- Develop and implement research and educational initiatives in partnership with Drexel University
- Engage in community outreach to expand healthcare access and reduce disparities
- Cultivate a skilled, diverse surgical team with a commitment to workforce development
- Enjoy robust surgical volume and guaranteed OR block time from day one
- Participate in a shared call schedule (1:4) supported by APPs and hospitalist team
- Currently Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Otolaryngology β REQUIRED
- Active and unrestricted state NJ medical license (or willing to obtain before start) - REQUIRED
- Valid BLS (or willing to obtain before start) -- REQUIRED
- Valid ACLS (or willing to obtain before start) -- REQUIRED
- DEA (or willing to obtain before start) - REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS certifications (or willing to obtain before start) - REQUIRED
- Malpractice history disclosure - REQUIRED
- Documentation of malpractice history (history accepted with limitations) - REQUIRED
- Proof of COVID and Flu vaccination compliance (per employer screening) - REQUIRED
