- A leadership opportunity for an experienced Otolaryngologist to serve as Division Director of Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).
- The role focuses on overseeing clinical, academic, and administrative operations while advancing minimally invasive surgical techniques, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to research and education initiatives.
- This position is part of a transformative system-wide strategy dedicated to innovation and excellence.
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations across clinical, academic, and administrative functions.
• Deliver high-quality patient care, specializing in advanced and minimally invasive ENT surgery.
• Collaborate with partner institutions to enhance interdisciplinary cancer care.
• Drive innovation in surgical practices using advanced robotic technology (Da Vinci Xi).
• Mentor and lead a team of surgeons and advanced practice providers.
• Develop research and educational initiatives in partnership with academic institutions.
• Promote access to care and reduce health disparities through community outreach.
• Manage guaranteed OR block time and support robust surgical volumes.
• Participate in a shared 1:4 call schedule, supported by APPs and hospitalists.
Qualifications
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Valid BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS certifications.
• Minimum of 3–5 years post-training clinical experience.
• Leadership or program development experience strongly preferred.
• Not open to new graduates, APPs, locums, 1099 contractors, or visa sponsorship.
• Malpractice history considered with limitations.
Working Hours
• Weekend requirements: 1:4 rotating weekend call coverage.
• On-call: 1:4 rotation supported by APPs and hospitalists.
Skills
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and administrative capabilities.
• Proficiency with robotic surgical technology (Da Vinci Xi preferred).
• Commitment to research, teaching, and academic medicine.
• Ability to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement.
