Locum Otolaryngology (ENT) Opportunity – Bon Secours Mercy Health | St. Mary’s Hospital – Richmond, VA
Overview:
Bon Secours Mercy Health – St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA is seeking a Board-Certified Otolaryngologist for ongoing hospital-based locum coverage. This is a well-supported ENT practice at one of Richmond’s most recognized hospitals. All travel and lodging expenses are covered.
Position Details:
- Setting: Hospital-based ENT practice
- Average Cases per Day: 6
- Trauma Level: None
- Annual ER Volume: 2
- EMR: Epic
- Patient Population: All ages
- Trauma/Hospital/Clinic Mix: 10% hospital-based
Job Responsibilities
• Thyroidectomy
• Extended Parotidectomy
General Surgical ENT:
• Tonsillectomy
• Adenoidectomy
• PE Tubes
Non-Surgical ENT:
• Hearing evaluations
• Management of disorders involving ears, nose, throat, and skeletal facial structures
Endoscopic Procedures:
• Septoplasty
• Sinus surgery
• Flexible and rigid bronchoscopy
• Laryngoscopy
Facial Surgery:
• Rhinoplasty
• Facial fracture repair
• Skin grafts and flaps
Qualifications
• Board Certification – Required
• Active VA Medical License & DEA – Required (no exceptions)
• BLS & ACLS – Required
• Fellowship Trained – Highly Preferred
• Must be available for listed dates – No exceptions
