Job description -Clinic, OR, and call 1 week/month.
-Must be BC (BE okay if scheduled to take boards ASAP)
-Clinic hours are standard 8a-5p, includes OR/surgery center coverage,
-Night call 5p-8a. 24hr Weekend call.
-When they have the week of call, it starts at 8a on Fri through 8a the following Fri.
-20-22 patients/day in a typical day depending on the physician. Right now, they have 2 part-timers so
they need additional coverage. They have 1 APP, looking for a second. (Not in need of locum APP.)
-They have 2 part-time ENTs on staff along with 1 APP plus the usual support staff.

Job Responsibilities

-Bread & butter ENT position.
Temp-to-perm high possibility given their open position, if provider is interested.
They only cover Mount Nittany Medical Center patients and unassigned patients. Another group has
ENT providers who help to cover call, but they cover their own practice call or utilize their residents for
phone triage of any patients. Occasionally, they’ll cover unassigned call, but Mount Nittany would be
responsible for their own patient call. Since these providers will have to be fully credentialed with
insurers, we shouldn’t look at them to cover anything until August at the very soonest.

Qualifications

-Must have active PA license or active IMLC at time of presentation.
