Locum Tenens Physician - Otolaryngology
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Otolaryngology
Location: Colorado
Shift Details:
- Days: Monday - Thursday (flexible on the days of the week)
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Clinic and OR)
- On-Call Requirements: Weekday Night Call (5:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
Position Details:
- Patient Population: 90% Adult, 10% Pediatric
- Responsibilities:
- 50% Surgical & 50% Office/Clinic
- Average of 15 patients per day (95% scheduled, 5% add-ons)
- 2-6 hospital patient surgeries per physician per day
- Supervision of other healthcare providers
- Required Procedures:
- General Otolaryngology (Surgical & Non-surgical)
- Endoscopic Procedures (Septal, Sinus, Bronchoscopy, Laryngoscopy, Tracheotomy)
- Preferred: Thyroidectomy, Parotidectomy, Neck Surgery, Facial Reconstruction, and Surgery.
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: RN, MA, Immunology/Allergy Clinic, APP, Office Support
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology (NO Board Eligible)
- Active Colorado License or Active IMLC
- Ability to perform all required procedures and supervise other healthcare providers
- ACLS (AHA) Certification
- Clean background and no malpractice history
- COVID Vaccinated
