ENT Physician Locums Job | Seeking ED Call Coverage in Florida

Jackson + Coker is working with a west coast Florida facility that needs ENT 24-hour call coverage for some shifts in May. Anticipate an average need of three weeks per month of coverage starting with the below shifts and then July onwards. Willing to work with multiple physicians to piece this coverage together.

Dates of Coverage:
* Monday, May 6 at 7am - Tuesday, May 14 at 7am
* Will be required to go on site for EPIC EMR training on a Wednesday or Friday prior to providing the coverage
+ Additional coverage needs in July–December will be provided ASAP, there will be an estimated 21 shifts every other month to cover

Details/Requirements for Assignment #100139:
-- Active Florida license + current DEA required
-- Seeking currently Board Certified or truly Board Eligible ENTs
-- Bread & Butter ENT coverage only
-- There is a fair amount of dental related infections to treat, draining tooth abscesses, etc.
-- Must be willing to cover head/neck cancer removal (and be OK with referring it to a specialist), minor facial fractures and tracheostomies
-- No APP support specific to the ENT service line while providing 24-hour call coverage
-- Will be covering the ED and doing 100% inpatient work
-- Will need to do daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
-- Will not have any scheduled or outpatient procedures while on assignment; will do an average of 5-10 procedures/week (come through ED)
-- Can anticipate an average of 8-11 patients/day while on call + working between 9-11 hours/day
-- Main facility is a 475+ bed full service hospital but you will be on call for MULTIPLE hospitals all at the same time as the main facility is where transfers are sent
