Coverage Need Details:


Outpatient M-F with scheduled OR days. No nights, no weekends, no call


Estimated Shifts/Month: 20


Privileges Available: Full Privileges;Temp Privileges


EMR / Charting: Epic and Meditech


TYPICAL DAY:


  • Provide medical, surgical and consultative care for patients requiring the service of an Otolaryngologist in an office setting, the ED, admitted to the hospital or at the request of another member of the staff


  • Operating Room block time 1 day/week, emergency cases added as required, and other add on cases as schedule permits

Anesthesiologist available 24/7 with full team of CRNAs


PAY RATE:

*Suggested pay rate: $300/hr - Willing to negotiate as the facility is motivated to find the coverage ASAP.


OTHER DETAILS:

*Will Candidates Work Solo?: Yes

*On Call?: No

*Days to Credential:3-4 weeks

*Schedule is 8:30a - 4:30p, Monday - Friday

*Other Specialties Available On-Site: Anesthesia, Gen Surg, Gastro, Ortho, Nephrology, Cardiology, Peds, OBGYN, Hospitalist, Podiatry


*New emergency patients are transferred to a tertiary facility on weekends. On weeknights, they can also be transferred or held until the provider is available for consult in the morning.


*Regarding surgical admissions - If there are overnights, we have a hospitalist team that can support patients admitted under the ENT service. Should be discharged or transferred by Friday if there are complex patients.


*Volume of patients per hour/day: About 15 outpatient visits per day and 25 surgical cases per month is what we are currently averaging.


*Average daily consults: 0-2 per day, tops
