Locums - Altoona, Pennsylvania, Area ENT Job

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible ENT
  • Seeking candidates who can work 7-8 days in a row once a month
  • Office 8a-430p
  • See about 20 patients per day in the clinic (mix of new and established patients)
  • Hospital: About two weekdays per week
  • # of surgeries per week: During the 1 week per month that the locum ENT provides coverage, they typically perform an average of 3 surgeries which may be “typical ENT surgeries” which would include: tracheostomy, removal foreign body, cauterization of bleeder, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, turbinectomy, and may include the maxillofacial surgeries above: open reduction internal fixation of facial fractures and mandible.
  • You’d also take 24 hour weekend call
  • Must have experience with Oral Maxillofacial and Facial Repairs/Trauma
  • # of Maxillofacial Surgeries per year: 12 – 15. These are comprised of: open reduction internal fixation of facial fractures and mandible
  • Must be able to do tracheotomies
  • Work with one other ENT
  • ACLS required
  • EMR: Cerner
