Position Summary
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Otolaryngologist for part-time locum coverage in Illinois. Responsibilities include outpatient clinic, surgical procedures, and night call coverage with a required 30-minute response time.
Key Responsibilities
- Outpatient and surgical care for pediatric ENT patients
- Night and telephone call coverage as scheduled
- Procedures include:
- Tonsillectomy
- Adenoidectomy
- Myringotomy with tube insertion
- Frenulectomy
- Laryngoscopy
- Myringoplasty
- Abscess drainage
- Foreign body removal
- Cauterization of the septum
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology
- Active IL medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Illinois CSR required
- Minimum 1 year of post-training experience preferred
